  You can see this pond when you pass through the gate.There are many colorful carp there. Some are red and white, some are black and others are white. This is a representative landscape of Tomioka Nishi High School. 

  Just beyond the entrance there is a monument with “Shitsujitsugouken” engraved on it. “Shitsujitsugouken” means simplicity and fortitude. This word is our ideal at Tomioka-Nishi High School. 

    

    

  To the left of the gate there is the one hundreth anniversary building. While it is the newest building at Tominishi, it is a place where you can feel the history of this school. There are exhibits there  that show the history of Tomioka Nishi High School.

Many events and conferences are held there, and new history continues to be  born. 

 

  There are big cherry trees in the courtyard. Near the cherry trees. In spring, they are full of cherry blossoms bloom which always cheer us up. It’s so beautiful and wonderful. Under the trees students talk about club activities and dreams. Throughout the year students enjoy spending the time here.
